A Web Design Bestseller

Figure B4.1This page from Yahoo! illustrates how stringing tasks together can make a site faster and more useful. Here, coffee houses and theaters are only a click away from a restaurant listing, making planning a night out on the town easier.Completing multiple tasks on a site is not fast and easy unless related tasks are linked together.

Figure B4.5 Link the completion of one group of tasks to the beginning of the next related task or tasks.Study customers, the tasks they do, and the sequence in which they do them. Then build relationships between tasks and link them so that the completion of one task can immediately precede the start of the next.

In the social sciences, organizations are the object of analysis for a number of disciplines, such as sociology, economics, political science, psychology, management, and organizational communication. The broader analysis of organizations is commonly referred to as organizational structure, organizational studies, organizational behavior, or organization analysis.Thanks.

The browser wars saw Microsoft and Netscape battle it out for the ultimate browser dominance. During this time there were many new technologies in the field, notably Cascading Style Sheets, JavaScript, and Dynamic HTML. On a whole the browser competition did lead to many positive creations and helped web design evolve at a rapid pace. Thanks.

The design approach is a general philosophy that may or may not include a guide for specific methods. Some are to guide the overall goal of the design. Other approaches are to guide the tendencies of the designer. A combination of approaches may be used if they don’t conflict. Thanks.
