SOLUTION

magnify image Figure K1.2 Provide links among your content, commerce, and community Web pages, integrating them into a unified whole.

If your site offers content, community, and commerce on the same topics, integrate the three elements into one unified browsing hierarchy, either by directly linking the three elements or by integrating the elements into one page.

Other Patterns to Consider

If content, community, and commerce are not integrated on one page, give customers immediate access to the separate elements of the site through your NAVIGATION BAR (K2) or through CONSISTENT SIDEBARS OF RELATED CONTENT (I6). Provide strong feedback on the customer’s location with LOCATION BREAD CRUMBS (K6).
